What Screen Studio is
Screen Studio calls itself “beautiful screen recordings, in minutes,” and is “made for Mac and nothing else.” It automatically zooms on click positions, smooths the cursor, adds wallpapers and gradients, makes captions locally with Whisper, and has masks for sensitive data. Screen Studio 4 adds edit-by-transcript, camera background cutout, a keycap display and project sharing. It offers share links streamed in the browser, limited to 30 minutes. Without an active plan you can use everything except exporting.
