For macOS 14 and later

The Mac screen recorder that edits as you go

Record your screen, camera, microphone and the Mac’s own sound. ScreenRecordii zooms in where you click, calms your cursor and frames it all on a wallpaper, so the take looks finished when you press stop.

In short

ScreenRecordii is a screen recorder for Mac (macOS 14 or later). It records a display, a window or any area, with your camera, microphone and system audio on separate tracks, then adds the editing most recordings need: zooms on every click, a smooth cursor, a wallpaper, padding, rounded corners and a shadow. Export MP4 up to 4K at 60 fps, or a GIF.

What a raw screen recording is missing

A raw recording shows the whole screen at once, so text is small, the cursor jitters and nothing tells the viewer where to look. Fixing that in a video editor means keyframing zooms by hand, finding a background and redrawing the cursor. ScreenRecordii does those things while you record, from what you actually did: where you clicked, when you typed, and what you said.

Zooms where you click

Every click is logged with its exact time and place, so zooms land on the action and ease back out. Drag, resize or aim any of them afterwards.

A cursor that glides

Shake is filtered out and movement is eased. You can make the pointer bigger, add click ripples, hide it when idle, or draw one clean path between clicks.

Framed for you

Wallpapers, gradients, colours or your own image, with padding, rounded corners and a shadow, at 16:9, 9:16, square or your recording’s own shape.

You, in the corner

A camera bubble, a split layout or full frame, switching on cue. Cut out your background without a green screen.

Recording on a Mac, step by step

  1. Choose what to record

A whole display, one window (it follows the window if it moves), or an area you draw. Pick your camera and microphone, and whether to include the Mac’s sound.

  2. Record

A countdown, then just work. Pause, restart or throw away the take from the floating bar. The recording is saved every two seconds, so a crash doesn’t lose it.

  3. Adjust

Your zooms and cursor are already in place on the timeline. Cut, speed up typing, add captions from your voice, blur anything private.

  4. Export

MP4 or GIF at the size you need, straight to a file or the clipboard, or a written step-by-step guide from the same recording.

Questions

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

Can it record the Mac’s own sound?

Yes, on macOS 14 or later. System audio is recorded on its own track, separately from your microphone, so you can set their volumes afterwards. macOS’s own Screenshot toolbar can include system audio from macOS 27.

Does it add a watermark?

No. The only logo on your video is one you add yourself with a brand kit.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything is recorded, edited and exported on your Mac.

How much does it cost?

It’s in early access, which is free. Pricing will be announced before launch.
