What Descript is
Descript says “with Descript, video editing is as easy as typing.” Its screen recorder records your screen, webcam and microphone together; recordings upload to Descript’s cloud while you record, and Quick Share can publish a share page when you stop. Editing includes text-based editing, the Underlord AI agent, captions, Studio Sound, Eye Contact and filler-word removal. It runs on macOS 14 or later, Windows 11 and the web.
